scheduling: a reminder

Maybe it’s totally pointless to write about my nightmares. I consider them as a warning for the future. This post could be the opening of the ‘scheduling’ category.

I don’t want to detail my first nightmare, in which I married some girl, who after the civil wedding turned out to be a very nasty piece of work. My second nightmare is a bit more up to the point: I dreamt that my submission for a project went terribly wrong, as I submitted some photographs stuck on an A3 sheet, instead of a short film. On top of this I had two days to write a 6000 word evaluation.

I was glad to be able to wake up.

My conclusion:

  • always read the brief several times from cover to cover (use the dictionary if necessary)
  • schedule the writing tasks first, so that there is plenty of time before the cut-off date
  • actually the two nightmares share similar features…
