I couldn’t sleep this morning. I was woken up by music. The randomised music of water droplets. I had tried and tried, so being a creative I come up with the idea that is pictured below. My installation piece is entitled:
“Composition for three foodstorers and a dozen of insulation tape”.

Update: “It’s 08:26 now and the water current became stronger. I decided to develop the idea further and include a metal bucket in the composition. This turned it into a truly sonic piece. Here it is:
Bucket and rain drops in my room
The concept behind the piece is to deaden the acoustics of falling waterdrops. With the addition of the bucket I contrast the quiet, weak drips with the strong, heavy ones. Quite a stunning performance!
Anyway, my luck is that my laptop was 8 inches away from the water leak and that I decided not to backup my data on my external hard drive. Usually the place where I store the hard drive is exactly at ground zero of the drippage.
And now a quick update that I was meant to write yesterday:
– I smoothed the bus stop scene in RM
– Forced the editors of Bike to hand over footage and sound.
– Tracklayed Bike, noted mistakes, compiled list
– Prepared for music and foley recording for RM in Audio 1.
More updates to follow later. Now I must rush and fix my punctured tyre and go to uni.
